A #moody space for curling up with kiddos to read a story. #readingnook #bookshelves #mosaicproperties #revadohills

Reading to your kids is nurturing for them but special for you, too. Our sons are college age now. We remember those years of curling up with books or just to talk. Most days we'd fall asleep mid story but we kept at it. They are treasured times that we now miss. The days are long. The years go fast. Enjoy it. #readingnook #readtokids #books #bookshelves #cuddletime #funspaceforkids #revadohills #mosaicproperties

What kid wouldn't want to live in this space? For that matter, what adult wouldn't want to spend time here? We built this as part of an infill project in #eastgrandrapids where spaces need to be intentional and efficient. The design team @visbeenarchtects crafted this space with all the functionality needed while keeping the space a creative, fun, and inspiring place for a young one to refresh after a long day at school. #ginghambedding #stripes #kidsbedroom #creativestorage #creativestorageideas #twinbeddesign #kidsbeddesign #blackandwhite #mosaicpro

You don't need to sacrifice outdoor space when living closer together. It's all about the staggered buildings, big shady porches, and landscaping to craft a private place to call home. A yellow state of Michigan adirondack chair helps, too!

1. Moody bedrooms 2. linen ruffled bed skirt 3. Angled lines around windows 4. A four-poster bed with unique details These are the things we love about this retreat. The owners bought this four-poster bed from @bradfordww a few decades ago. Although their styles have changed, this piece continues to look beautiful as the day it arrived. Rather than buying a trendy piece of furniture, invest in handcrafted furniture that can stand the test of time. #timelessdesign #qualityfurniture #fourposterbeds #masterbedroomdesign #bradfordwoodworking
